When you reach the massive sealed vault door inside Korrow Ruins, you will notice a set of large pipes extending outward. Instead of searching directly around the doorframe, head up the walkways and stairs located along the upper metal catwalks of the chamber. Following this elevated path leads directly to a large boiler furnace mounted against the wall.

Igniting the Mechanism with Fire Spells

Once you stand in front of the boiler furnace, you need to ignite the fuel beneath it. Casting a fire-based spell such as Incendio or Confringo will instantly light the fire and start generating steam. You will watch the pipes glow and hear the mechanical gears activate as energy flows down toward the heavy metal doorway.
